Eagles see off Rams

Three tries in the final 10 minutes helped the Sheffield Eagles to a comfortable 40-12 victory over Dewsbury Rams in their Co-operative Championship clash .

Prop Alex Roe scored a brace while six goals from the boot of Simon Brown made for a relatively easy victory.

Danny Mills ran over after only six minutes before further unanswered tries from Quentin Laulu-Togagae and Rowe gave the Eagles a healthy half-time advantage.

Converted tries from Robert Spicer and Ryan Glynn got Dewsbury onto the scoresheet in the second half, but the Eagles continued to score at regular intervals as Menzie Yere, Rowe, Tim Bergin and Corey Hanson all added tries for the hosts.
