The Sheffield Eagles Foundation is dedicated to harnessing the power of sport to create lasting, positive change within the Sheffield City Region. Established in 2001, we have consistently led the way in delivering innovative, inclusive, and impactful sports-based initiatives.
Our work spans a wide range of programmes, including the Sheffield Eagles Women’s, Wheelchair, Physical Disability, and Learning Disability teams. We introduce Rugby League and other sports to young people in schools, and deliver mental health initiatives that reach more than 2,000 young people each year.
We are committed to ensuring that sport is accessible to everyone. Alongside competitive opportunities, we provide social formats of Rugby League, such as Tag, Touch, and Walking Touch RL, enabling adults of all abilities to participate. We work closely with disability sport partners to remove barriers to participation, ensuring people who might otherwise find it difficult to access sport can enjoy activities that meet their needs.
Our mission extends beyond the playing field. Through our programmes, we aim to inspire the next generation, promote personal growth, strengthen community bonds, and support success both on and off the field.
By partnering with the Sheffield Eagles Foundation, organisations can play a pivotal role in transforming lives through sport and ensuring that opportunities to thrive are available to all members of our community.
