Women's sides in action this weekend!

It’s a busy day of Rugby League action on Sunday afternoon for both of our Women’s sides.

Our Women’s Red team return to Championship action on the road this weekend, as Andrea Dobson MBE and Louis Townsend’s side travel to Bartercard Odsal Stadium to take on the Bradford Bulls (5:15pm KO).

The squad will be aiming to secure their first league win of the season, and the coaching duo have named a strong side for the fixture.

Among the squad is Leah McGready, who is included after impressing coaches during the Girls’ Player Pathway programme, and she could make her senior debut for the Eagles in West Yorkshire this weekend.

Entry for this fixture is via Gate 12A from 4:15pm, with admission priced at £5 for adults. Under 16s can attend free of charge.

Our Gold side are also in action this weekend, as they take to the field for their first competitive outing in the Midlands League.

John Smith has named a twelve-player squad who will make the journey to the Midlands (TF4 3NZ), where they will face Nottingham Outlaws and Telford Raiders in back-to-back fixtures.
