Wheelchair squads named for double header this Saturday!

Sheffield Eagles will be hoping to maintain their top of the table status in Wheelchair RL Championship East when their Red team meet Hull Kingston Rovers at the weekend. The game is part of a double-header which kicks off at 10.30am at the English Institute of Sport in the Basketball Hall, with entry free and plenty of spectator seating on the balcony.

Head Coach Greg Brown has a full compliment of players to choose from, with David Butler and Ben Simpson both returning to the side for their first competitive games of the season, having missed the away win over Bradford Bulls and last week’s home win against Wakefield Trinity.

After the fixture, the Eagles A team will take on Salford Red Devils in a first 80-minutes clash between the two teams, with the gold side hoping to build on last week’s encouraging friendly against Bradford Bulls A. The game kicks off at 12.30pm, with Barry Grayson returning to the fold after missing last week’s game due to other sporting commitments. Stacey Roulson and Sammi Kelly-Pride also return, and youngster Chris Brown is set to make his first appearance of the season.
