Wheelchair Gold side travel to York this Sunday!

Sheffield Eagles Wheelchair A team head to York on Sunday to meet with development sides from York and Hull FC as part of York Knights’ Inclusion Day.

The action takes place at the Sports Centre at the LNER Stadium from 11am.

The Gold team will have game time against both of the sides in a round-robin event that builds an ongoing friendship between the Eagles and the Knights teams and a return fixture against Hull FC’s development team after the Eagles opened their 2023 season at home to the black and whites.

Joe Wink-Simmonds will coach the team, which is slightly depleted due to bank holiday commitments, with Stacey Roulson, Helen Calder and Chris Brown unable to make the trip, but James Birchnall joins from the Red team to gain some further experience and to bolster the numbers.
