Two New Office Members at the Sheffield Eagles

Sheffield Eagles are pleased to announce the new additions of two new key office staff.
Tasha Burt has stepped up into a full-time position with the club, becoming Sheffield Eagles’ new Events Executive, whilst Brad Saxton has come on board as our new Media Executive.
Tasha originally started volunteering with the club in 2022 after her youngest child started school, before earning a part-time job as an Events Co-Ordinator with the Eagles.
As lifelong Sheffield Eagles fan, she will now run our Non-Matchday events programme, as well as continuing to provide invaluable matchday support in our corporate lounge.
Speaking on her new role, Tasha said “I’m really excited to get going in my new position having worked here part time last year, I can’t wait to get going in my new role and hopefully we can bring some really good events off the field as the club embark in their 40th anniversary year.”
Brad joins the Eagles on a full-time basis having previously worked as a Media Assistant at York City Football Club since 2022. He worked at the club alongside studying at university, where he undertook a Multimedia Sports Journalism course as UCFB in Manchester.
A keen rugby league fan, Brad has previously volunteered with fellow Betfred Championship side York City Knights during the 2023 campaign.
Speaking on his new role with the club, Brad said “I’m really looking forward to working with the club in this new role and I look forward to meeting all the staff, players and fans over the next coming weeks. I’m excited to lead the media department here at the Eagles and hopefully create a good online presence for the team on all social media platforms.”
Operations Director Mark Hannigan said “It’s great to have Tasha come full time with us and to bring Brad on board as well. As a club, we are now investing in the team off the pitch, as well as on it and I’m excited to see how well we all work together as a team to help Sheffield Eagles into the 2024 season.”
