Reilly departs Eagles

Sheffield Eagles have agreed to the release of Martyn Reilly, after the front-rower put forward a request to leave the club this week. 

Reilly joined the club from Oldham in the off-season but will now continue his career elsewhere.

Director of Rugby Mark Aston commented: “We never want to stand in a player’s way and this is the case with Martyn,” 

“Martyn has made a big impact in his short time with ourselves and he is the ultimate professional.

“I’d like to thank Martyn for his efforts in an Eagles shirt and we wish him all the best for the future.”
