Match Preview | Whitehaven travel to OLP this Sunday!
24/07/2024
By Mia Newton
This Sunday, the Eagles are back at Olympic Legacy Park where they'll face Whitehaven and look to make a return to winning ways in the Betfred Championship.
The Eagles are working hard to snatch a win after suffering back-to-back defeats against Swinton and Barrow over the last fortnight.
It will be a tough test this Sunday for Mark Aston's side as they come up against a Whitehaven side, who will be looking for another league win after their close 20-22 victory against Swinton last weekend.
Find below all the information ahead of Sunday's game.

The Eagles have only won one of our last three matches against Whitehaven, which came during the early stages of this season as a 16-42 victory in April.
The last home win for our Eagles against Whitehaven was back in 2022 with an incredible 36-28 victory.
Bayley Liu has scored three tries in the Eagles' last three meetings with Whitehaven, so he’ll be hoping to carry on this form this weekend.
