Match Preview | Wheelchair Gold side travel to York

On Saturday 25th May, Sheffield Eagles will take on York Knights in a Wheelchair Rugby League Friendly match at the University of York (11am).
The Eagles will field players identified in their Gold squad for the game, meaning that all eyes will be on York for the weekend as Stephen Reilly and Chris Haynes will take part in the England Futures game at the same venue on the same day.
Sammi Kelly-Pride will make her debut for the side, marking another heritage number earned for the Sheffield Eagles, whilst Martin Turner will play his second game for the club having made his debut against Leeds Rhinos earlier in the year.
The game is a first of several friendlies this season for the Gold team with players taking part challenging for a place in the Red side who will play in the Championship East league.
