Betfred Championship EVOGO

Match Preview | Halifax (A) this Sunday at Odsal!

04/08/2025

The Eagles return to the road this Sunday afternoon for the first of two consecutive away fixtures, as we face Halifax Panthers in the Betfred Championship.

With their home ground, The Shay, currently undergoing pitch redevelopment, the West Yorkshire side will host the Eagles at Bradford Bulls’ Bartercard Odsal Stadium this weekend.

Halifax will be aiming to bounce back in what is their final “home” game on the road, following a recent defeat to Bradford last Friday. After a strong start to the season which saw them sit at the top of the table, their form has since declined, winning just 3 of their last 13 league fixtures, which has caused them to slip outside of the playoff positions.

Despite our own challenging run of results, Craig Lingard’s side will be determined to return to winning ways after suffering a home defeat to Widnes Vikings last Sunday at the Steel City Stadium.

Sunday’s clash marks our third visit to Bartercard Odsal Stadium this season, having previously faced Bradford Bulls at the same venue in both league and AB Sundecks 1895 Cup action.

Please see below for all the key information you need ahead of this weekend’s encounter with Halifax Panthers.
