Match Preview | Bradford Bulls vs Sheffield Eagles
15/05/2024
Sheffield Eagles travel to Bartercard Odsal Stadium on Sunday afternoon to take on Bradford Bulls in Round Eight of the Betfred Championship.
Mark Aston’s side will be looking to return to winning ways in the league this weekend after falling to our first defeat of the season two weeks ago, in a 10-36 home defeat to league leaders Wakefield Trinity.
Last week’s win at York RLFC Knights in the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Semi Final saw the Eagles return to winning ways, but attentions now turn back to league action as we make the short trip across to West Yorkshire.
This Sunday’s hosts Bradford come into Sunday’s contest hoping to return to winning ways themselves after they were beaten by Wakefield last weekend in the other AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Semi Final.
In their last couple of outings in the Championship, Eamon O’Carroll’s side secured a 12-38 win two weeks ago at Heywood Road, after they fell to back-to-back defeats to York Knights (25-14) and Widnes Vikings (13-14).
