Match Preview | AB Sundecks 1895 Cup 1st Round

27/02/2025

Sheffield Eagles enter the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup 1st Round this coming Sunday when we take on South Yorkshire rivals Doncaster at home (3pm KO).

Craig Lingard’s men will be looking to start our cup run on a high and secure a victory, which would see us go only two games away from a potential return to Wembley Stadium.

After three successive defeats in recent weeks, The Eagles will also be looking to secure a win against a side we’ve already beaten once this season, having beaten Doncaster last month 10-26 at the Eco-Power Stadium in a pre-season friendly.

Please read below for all the key information you need to know ahead of Sunday’s clash.
