Masi Matongo joins the Eagles on a one-year deal

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to announce the signing of Masi Matongo, who joins the club on a one-year deal.

The 28-year-old forward has a wealth of Super League experience under his belt having made over 50 appearances for Hull FC in the top tier of English Rugby League, and he’ll look to bring that with him to the Eagles in 2025.

After departing the East Yorkshire side at the end of the 2020 campaign, Matongo has appeared in the Betfred Championship over recent years for Bradford Bulls and York Knights, but he’ll be eager to get back into competitive action having spent the last year out of the game.
