Kris Welham signs new one-year deal with the club!

Sheffield Eagles is pleased to announce that centre Kris Welham has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

After originally signing for the club ahead of the 2022 campaign, Welham has gone on to make 80 appearances over the past three years, and he’ll look to add to his appearance tally next season after penning a new deal with the Eagles.

The former Hull KR, Salford, Bradford and Featherstone man has previously played in a Super League Grand Final, Challenge Cup Final, and the Million Pound Game over recent years, and the 37-year-old will look to add valuable experience once again on the edges as the Eagles look to challenge for the Betfred Championship playoffs in 2025.

Speaking on his new deal, Welham said “I’m really pleased to have re-signed for another year for this great club. The last 3 years I’ve spent here has made it an easy decision to play on, and not hang up the boots just yet.”
