Jack Bussey to depart Sheffield Eagles

29/10/2026

Jack Bussey will leave Sheffield Eagles following the conclusion of the 2026 Betfred Championship season.

The experienced forward joined the Eagles ahead of the 2025 campaign and has made 40 appearances across his two seasons with the club, scoring seven tries.

He helped the side achieve a 7th place finish in the Championship this year, helping the Eagles compete in the end-of-season playoffs for the first time since 2023.

Everyone at Sheffield Eagles would like to place on record their thanks to Jack for his commitment, professionalism and contribution during his time at the club.

We wish Jack all the very best for the next chapter of his career.
