In the latest edition of Isolation Picks, prop forward Scott Wheeldon racks his brain for the best films, TV series’ and music he has seen and heard!

Films

American Psycho - Christian Bale plays his best role, in my opinion, in this awesome film. You actually need to watch it about 5 times to appreciate it as you miss loads. It’s actually quite funny once you understand the film. I’ve probably seen this film in excess of 20 times. 

Rocky - Just a classic rags to riches film that everyone can enjoy, who doesn’t want to see the underdog win? 

Snatch - A modern classic, really funny and easy to watch film with some brilliant quote. One of my favourites:  "Do you know what nemesis means? A righteous infliction of retribution manifested by an appropriate agent, personified in this case by a 'orrible c***, me." ?

TV Series 

Only Fools and Horses - The best series in history! Bonnet de douche. 

Bottom - Very strange, very funny, love it. Best episode has got to be “smells”. 

Auf Wiedersehen, Pet - A lot of people might not know or have seen this but it’s brilliant. Made in the 80s about a bunch of brickies that meet up on a job in Germany working abroad all living in the same hut. Quite a long series perfect for those who haven’t seen it during the lockdown, get it downloaded

Music -
