Eva Green joins our Women's Team

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to announce the addition of Eva Green, who joins our Women’s Team from Leeds Rhinos.

A former member of the Rhinos’ Under-19s set-up, Green is also the daughter of former Eagles legend Peter Green, and she links up with Andrea Dobson M.B.E. and Louis Townsend’s side for the remainder of the 2026 Championship campaign.

Speaking on her move to the Eagles, she said, “I'm so excited to be part of such a fantastic club. The staff and girls have been so welcoming and have created such a positive atmosphere.

"My dad spent a lot of time at this club, so it feels special to now start my own journey here. I'm ready to get out there and get stuck in."

Green goes straight into contention for this Sunday's Championship clash against Warrington Wolves at Victoria Park (1pm kick-off).
