Eagles Women take on Rochdale in rearranged fixture

02/07/2022

The Eagles will play Rochdale Hornets at home this weekend. Kicking off at 2pm at Mosborough Miners Welfare, Sheffield.

After their victory against Halifax Panthers last week, the Eagles will face the Hornets at home this week, in what will be their sixth game of the season.

With Rochdale having produced mixed results in their games so far, the Eagles will look to prove themselves as a top of the table team.

Ahead of the game, team captain Pete Lendon commented, “Rochdale are only two places behind us in the table, and are an unknown team for us.

"They are currently on a winning streak - so I think this game will be a good challenge for us.”

“Team spirits are high after our recent wins, so we will be going into this game feeling confident, but also will continue to work to improve our performance.”

“After a few back to back away games, we’re excited to play with a home crowd, and look forward to showing our fans how we have developed as a team.”
