Wheelchair Rugby League captured the nation’s interest during the recent Rugby League World Cup, which saw England overcome France in the final in dramatic fashion to be crowned world champions.
Since that victory in Manchester, participation in Wheelchair Rugby League has boomed and the UK’s domestic competitions have continued to go from strength to strength.
Disabled and non-disabled participants of any age and gender play alongside each other in Wheelchair Rugby League, making it arguably the most inclusive variant of the sport.
