Eagles to welcome Hull FC to Steel City

Sheffield Eagles will play Hull FC in a pre-season friendly at the Olympic Legacy Park on Sunday 22nd January at 3pm.

A week before they host Doncaster at the same venue, the Eagles’ first runout of 2023 will come against Super League opposition in the Black and Whites.

It’ll be the second consecutive year that Sheffield will face Hull, following last season’s Challenge Cup contest.

The highlight from that day being former Hull KR centre Kris Welham getting on the scoresheet and duly celebrating in front of the Old Faithful. You can watch that here.

Tickets for the game will be on sale shortly as we're aiming for double-headers, with the Eagles Women also getting some pre-season game time.

It will be an all-ticket game and Memberships are not valid for pre-season fixtures.
