Eagles name squad for Wheelchair Challenge Cup Semi Final

Our Wheelchair Team will take on Halifax Panthers tomorrow morning in the Semi Finals of the Betfred Challenge Cup at Ponds Forge International Sports Centre (11:30am).
The Eagles are eighty minutes away from the final in our debut season in the competition, and they head into tomorrow’s game full of confidence after previous wins against Warrington Wolves and Edinburgh Giants in the last two rounds.
They’ll come up against a strong Halifax Panthers side, full of international talent, who will also be looking to secure their place in the final. After receiving a bye in the last round, Saturday’s game will be their first game in the competition this season.
The winner will take on either London Roosters or Leeds Rhinos in the final of the competition on Saturday 14th June at the Robin Park Arena in Wigan.
Following on from the Semi Final clash tomorrow, both ‘A’ teams will go head-to-head in a Wheelchair friendly, which kicks off at 1:30pm.
