Bulls vs Eagles postponed

The Betfred Championship fixture between Bradford Bulls and Sheffield Eagles which was scheduled for Sunday (August 8) has been postponed, at Sheffield’s request under the sport’s Covid-19 fixture protocols.

As for last weekend’s home fixture against York City Knights, Sheffield meet the threshold for postponement of at least seven senior players ruled out either as a result of positive Covid-19 tests or as close contacts.

The clubs will now liaise with the RFL in an attempt to find a date to rearrange the fixture, although part-time teams cannot be required to play in midweek.

Information regarding tickets purchased for this fixture will be communicated by Bradford in due course.
