Another Wheelchair Rugby League Double Header this weekend!
15/08/2024
It’s another double-header of Wheelchair Rugby League in Sheffield this Saturday as the Eagles will take on Hull KR.
Our Gold Team will play KR’s ‘A’ team in a friendly at the English Institute of Sport, kicking off at 10:30am, before our Red side will take on their first team in the Championship East at 12:30pm.
The Red team have won all five of their league games so far as they sit top of the league, so they’ll be looking to maintain that position.
Top try scorer Steve Reilly and David Butler are missing, but the Brooks trio return after missing the last game against Wakefield. Stuart Wilkinson and Stacey Roulson also are named to get first-grade experience.
The Gold team will face Hull KR's second team, aiming to build on last month's win over Colostomy UK. Andy Clare is set to play his second game for the Eagles, and James Birchnall is also named in the squad to support him in his development.
Get yourself down to the EIS on Saturday morning and take in a double-header of Wheelchair Rugby League. Entry is free for all spectators.
