Women's team draw Thatto Heath Crusaders in Challenge Shield

Sheffield Eagles have been drawn away to Thatto Heath Crusaders in the 1^st Round of the Women’s Challenge Shield.

The tie will take place on Sunday 22^nd March, with the venue and kick off time to be confirmed in due course.

The draws up until the Quarter Finals of the competition have already been made, with the Eagles knowing that they will face either Leigh Miners Rangers or Halifax Panthers at home in Round 2, a week later on Sunday 29^th March, should they get past Thatto Heath.

Should we again progress into the Quarter Finals, the Eagles would then travel to either Manchester Swinton Lionesses, Bradford Bulls or Stanningley on Sunday 12^th April.

In the case that the Eagles were knocked out of the Challenge Shield in the 1^st Round by Thatto Heath Crusaders, we would then progress into the Challenge Plate, which would be played in accordance with the Shield competition.
