Women’s Red and Gold Teams in action This Sunday

It’s set to be another busy Sunday afternoon for our Women’s teams, with both the Red and Gold sides in action as their respective seasons continue to build momentum.

The Women’s Red team will be looking to bounce back from last week’s away defeat to Cardiff as they return to home soil for a crucial Championship clash against Hull FC. Coaches Andrea Dobson MBE and Louis Townsend have named their squad for the match, and the players will no doubt be eager to respond with a strong performance.

With one league win already under their belts, the Red team will be aiming to secure their second victory of the campaign. The match kicks off at 2pm at Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park, and supporters are encouraged to come down and cheer the team on. Admission is free for all spectators, making it a great opportunity for fans, families, and the wider community to get behind the side.

Meanwhile, our Women’s Gold team are also in action this weekend as they travel to Coventry for another round of fixtures in the Midlands League. Head coach John Smith has selected his squad for Sunday’s games.

The club is also delighted to welcome Becka Drury, who joins the Gold squad for the weekend’s action from Dodworth Miners.
