Wheelchair player Gareth Ramsey selected for Wales A national squad

Sheffield Eagles Wheelchair player Gareth Ramsey has been selected in the Wales A squad for their upcoming friendly against the UK Armed Forces.
The fixture will take place at Wrexham University on Saturday 14th March as part of a double header. The Wales A side will kick off proceedings at 1:00pm, before the Wales National squad face the Armed Forces at 2:15pm in the main encounter.
A total of 17 players have been named across both squads, with eight selected for the senior side and a further nine featuring in the development (Wales A) squad.
Ramsey is one of just two uncapped players included in the Wales A squad. He is joined by Libbie Sargent (Cardiff Blue Dragons/Midlands Hurricanes) as the only players yet to represent Wales at senior level, with the remainder of the squad having previously earned full international caps.
Wales squad: Jodie Boyd-Ward (Leeds Rhinos, captain), Jonathan Gill, Matthew Turner, Jakub Wasieczko (all North Wales Crusaders), Stuart Williams (North Wales Crusaders/Edinburgh Giants, vice captain), Gary Preece (Midlands Hurricanes), Brogan Evans, Mark Williams (both South Wales Jets/Wigan Warriors) plus two TBC.
