Taylor leaves Eagles

Sheffield Eagles can confirm Lewis Taylor will be leaving the club.

Taylor, who joined the club ahead of the 2019 season, was unable to commit to a new contract for 2021 due to increased work commitments in his full-time job away from the club.

The ex-England Students international impressed earlier this year with his progress, sadly halted due to the premature end to the season. 

Taylor will look to continue playing elsewhere if his workload makes it possible and all at the Eagles would like to thank Lewis for his service and wish him well in his new job and potential future professional rugby career.

Stay tuned to the Eagles website and social media channels over the coming weeks as we start to announce re-signings and new recruits for the 2021 season.
