T20 Charity Cricket Match: Mark Aston's RL Players vs Ex-Professional Footballers

Sheffield Eagles Director of Rugby Mark Aston heads up a team of Rugby League legends set to don their cricket whites to raise funds for The Eagles Foundation and Walking and Talking.
The T20 match takes starts at midday on Sunday 28 August, with gates at Thorpe Hesley & High Green Cricket Club opening an hour before at 11 am.
Former Sheffield skipper Paul Broadbent joins Darren Turner, Dale Laughton, John Lawless, Bright Sodje and Waisale Sovatabua in the Ex-Pro Rugby League Players team.
Their opposition includes former Sheffield United and Sheffield Wednesday goalkeepers in Paddy Kenny and Chris Kirkland who join Mark Crossley, Jon Parkin, John Sheridan, John Beresford, Wayne Biggins, Nigel Jemson and Dean Windass on the Ex-Pro Footballers team.
The bar at the cricket club will be serving food and refreshments and there will be raffles and auctions taking place throughout the match.
Former Calendar and BBC Journalist Peter McNerney will be the Master of Ceremonies.
