Sosaia to the Steel City

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to announce the two-week loan signing of former NRL outside back Sosaia Feki from Castleford Tigers.

Feki was a regular for Cronulla Sharks but has had unfortunate luck with injury since his move to the UK.

Having recently appeared for the Tigers at reserve grade, Feki will now join the Eagles for some game time in the Betfred Championship.

Discussing the signing, Eagles Director of Rugby Mark Aston said: “We’re extremely pleased to be bringing in Sosaia on a loan deal,”

“He was outstanding in the NRL, which is obviously the reason why Cas signed him but he has had a torrid time with injuries.

“We’re more than happy to be giving him a shot in the Red and Gold.

“He is good friends with QLT and that always helps when you come into a new environment.”
