Simon Vardy returns as Head of Strength and Conditioning

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to confirm the return of Simon Vardy, who will take up the position of Head of Strength and Conditioning from the 1st June.

Simon returns to the club after departing at the end of last season following ten years of dedicated service to pursue a new career opportunity. His comeback comes as we approach the halfway point of the 2025 Betfred Championship season.

He first joined the Eagles in 2014 as a Strength and Conditioning Coach within our Scholarship programme, before he stepped up to work with the men’s first team ahead of the 2018 campaign.

We’re thrilled to welcome Simon back and we look forward to his continued impact both on and off the field.
