Ryan Millar to leave Sheffield Eagles

Sheffield Eagles can confirm that winger Ryan Millar will depart the club following the conclusion of the 2026 Betfred Championship season.

A product of the Eagles’ academy, Ryan Millar made his first-team debut in 2015, scoring twice in a 22-14 victory over London Broncos in the capital.

Over the following seasons, Millar established himself as a regular on the wing and enjoyed a particularly impressive 2019 campaign, scoring 20 tries in 32 appearances and helping the Eagles lift the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup following victory over Widnes Vikings in the final.

Ryan departed the club at the end of the 2021 season, going on to represent Bradford Bulls and Widnes Vikings before returning to Sheffield ahead of the 2024 campaign.

Since his return, he has made a further 84 appearances across three seasons, scoring eight tries in 14 appearances so far this year.

Across his two spells with the Eagles, Ryan has made 155 appearances and scored 70 tries.
