Pre-season friendly confirmed against Keighley Cougars!

Sheffield Eagles will kick off their 2026 preparations with a trip to Cougar Park on Saturday 20th December to face Keighley Cougars in a pre-season friendly (3pm).

The fixture will give supporters their first look at Craig Lingard’s new-look squad as preparations step up for the 2026 campaign, and the likes of new arrivals Kieran Gill, Jordan Lilley and George Griffin could all feature for the first time for the Eagles.

The fixture will also see a return to familiar surroundings for former Cougars Billy Walkley and Harry Bowes, both of whom made the switch to Sheffield during the 2025 season and could line up against their former club for the first time.

Ticket prices for the match at Cougar Park are as follows:

Adults: £15

Concessions: £12

Under 16s: Free of charge
