Nash Jennings joins our Wheelchair team

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to officially announce the signing of Nash Jennings, who will join our Wheelchair squad for the 2026 season.

Jennings featured for the Eagles in our Wheelchair friendly against Hull FC last month, but he’s now officially confirmed as a Sheffield player for the upcoming season.

He arrives from Warrington Wolves, where he previously competed in the Betfred Wheelchair Super League, but spent last season playing in the Championship.  He has also previously represented Ireland in Wheelchair Rugby League.

Speaking about the move, Nash said, “I’m really looking forward to the year ahead. I had a good run at Warrington, but I felt the time was right to take the next step.

“The main reason I’ve made this move is to push myself and continue improving as a player. I want to bring something new to a team that is clearly growing and moving in the right direction.”
