Mitch Clark leaves Sheffield Eagles

The Club can confirm that Mitch Clark has been released from his contract by mutual consent on compassionate grounds.

The 31-year-old joined Sheffield Eagles ahead of the 2024 campaign from Newcastle Thunder, and he went on to make a total of 27 appearances last season for the club. 

It was great to see Mitch’s father and former Rugby League player Trevor Clark surprise him ahead of our trip to Wembley Stadium last season, where he flew into the country on the morning of the game from Australia.

We’d like to thank Mitch for all he has done for the club over the last year, and we wish him the best with his future endeavours.
