Mick Piper joins Backroom Staff

Sheffield Eagles are excited to welcome Mick Piper as Assistant Coach, strengthening our backroom staff.

Piper, with a strong coaching background from his time at Bradford Bulls, Wakefield Trinity, and Huddersfield Giants, has been working closely with the squad behind the scenes in recent weeks. He officially now joins Craig Lingard’s coaching team, alongside Craig Huby and Paul Broadbent, bringing valuable knowledge and experience to the club.

Speaking on his new role with the club, Mick said “I’m honoured and excited to join a club like Sheffield Eagles. 

“We have a fantastic group of players who I’m looking forward to working with. I’m also keen to learn and develop further working alongside Craig and his experienced coaching staff. I appreciate the opportunity and am looking forward to having a great year.”
