Sheffield Eagles is pleased to announce that winger Matty Dawson-Jones has signed a new one-year deal with the club.
The winger finished as the club’s joint top scorer in 2024 as the wide man crossed for 19 tries in 33 appearances, resulting in his best scoring season so far during his career.
The 34-year-old former St Helens, Leigh and Bradford wide-man will now stay put in South Yorkshire for a third season as he looks to help the Eagles push for the Betfred Championship playoffs in 2025.
Speaking on his new deal, Dawson-Jones said “I’m over the moon to be staying at the club for another year. I’m looking forward to repaying the fans for their amazing support last season! Can’t wait to get stuck into next year, and hopefully we can make up for a disappointing end to the 2024 season.”
