Match Preview | Widnes Vikings away this Sunday!
01/05/2026
The Eagles begin May with a trip across the Pennines this weekend as we take on Widnes Vikings at the DCBL Stadium.
Craig Lingard’s men will be hoping to make it back-to-back victories in the Betfred Championship this Sunday after getting back to winning ways last time out against Salford R.L.F.C.
Sunday’s game sees us take on a Widnes side, who are currently on a three-match winning run, which was extended last weekend with a comprehensive 54-0 victory against Halifax Panthers.
Widnes and Sheffield currently sit 7th and 8th in the Betfred Championship respectively, with only two points separating the two sides, so both teams will know how important getting all two points will be in this weekend’s encounter.
Sunday’s clash kicks off at 3pm, and you can secure your match tickets by clicking the link below now.
