The ambassador programme offers unique Sheffield Eagles opportunities for associated schools, clubs and groups with the clubs today playing matches at U7s and U9s as well as taking on some of the matchday duties with our staff and volunteers.
The hawks over the years have provided many Eagles stars with current players Cory Aston and Eddie Battye starting their playing journey with them. The club is ever present at Eagles matches home and away as well as supporting our foundation programmes. The club offers playing opportunities for little hawks (U5’s) through to U14’s boys as well as open age men’s and Womens masters. Girls are welcome throughout the age groups until they reach U12’s where there is a girl’s only team.
Dodworth Miners are a thriving community club offering playing opportunities for mini miners (age 3 -5) all the way up to U16’s boys as well as open age men’s. Girls are welcome throughout the age groups up to U11s and the club have recently launched an open age women’s team. Dodworth Miners junior players are regular members of our Sheffield Eagles ball crew on matchdays.
Since their reformation in in 2018 the Sheffield forgers have strived to provide opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels. They currently have an open age men’s team and have further expanded their junior section this year to offer playing opportunities for players at U7’s and U9’s.
