Match Preview | Sheffield welcome Doncaster this Sunday!

Sheffield Eagles make the return to the Steel City Stadium for the first time in a month on Sunday afternoon when we welcome Doncaster in Round 14 of the Betfred Championship.

In the fourth South Yorkshire derby of the season, The Eagles will be looking to build on last week’s brilliant result up in Cumbria, as we look to close a four-point gap between ourselves and eighth-placed Doncaster on Sunday afternoon.

Craig Lingard’s side will be full of confidence following on from that 22-28 victory against Barrow Raiders, but we come up against a Doncaster side who have won three of their last five games in the Championship.

Please read below for all the information you need to know ahead of Sunday’s game between Sheffield Eagles and Doncaster.

TICKETS

Match Tickets for Sunday’s game remain on sale, and you’re able to secure your spot for this game now by clicking HERE.

Ticket prices for the game are as follows:

SEATING

Adults - £21

Concessions (65+, Students) - £16

Juniors (U16’s) - £8

STANDING

Adults - £19

Concessions (65+, Students) - £13

Juniors (U16’s) - £6

 * Please note that all ticket prices, except Juniors, will increase by £2 on the day of a game.  

 * We strongly ask all supporters to purchase their tickets in advance of the game, by buying online though our online ticketing portal. 

TURNSTILES

Turnstiles will open at 1:45PM. Supporters are encouraged to arrive early to facilitate a smooth entry into the stadium and avoid any delays.

PARKING

We’re pleased to announce we have on-site parking for gamedays at the Steel City Stadium for the 2025 season. Worksop Road car park is available to use for supporters on a first-come, first-served basis. Car park spaces cost £5 and will be available to buy with CARD ONLY.

Please note that the car park is now run by an external company, and we are no longer responsible for the security of any vehicles parked within the car park.

Alternatively, there is some street parking available around the local area, but please note that this is limited. Please be mindful of the residents when parking your vehicle.

CONCESSIONS

Our food and drink concessions will offer a range of hot food options, including Hot Dogs (£4.50), a selection of Pies (£5), and Sausage Rolls (£3). These items can be bought on their own or served with peas and gravy for an additional £1.50.

Crisps and chocolate bars will be available at £2 each.

Drinks on offer include alcoholic options such as John Smiths (£5) and Cider and Lager (£5.75), as well as bottled soft drinks (£3).

Our concessions are located inside the stadium concourse to your left after you have entered through the turnstiles.

Please note that our concessions take card payments ONLY.

21-MAN SQUAD SHEETS

For the 2025 season, we will not be producing a match programme. Instead, a printed copy of the 21-man squads for both teams will be available. These will be limited in quantity but can be obtained free of charge from our gameday volunteers inside the Steel City Stadium.
