Match Preview | Sheffield Eagles vs Hunslet

Sheffield Eagles will end the month with a home game tomorrow evening as we welcome Hunslet to the Steel City Stadium in Round 11 of the Betfred Championship.

After a two week break from action, Craig Lingard’s side will get back into the swing of things at home and they’ll be looking to make it back-to-back victories for the first time in the league this season.

Lingard named his 21-man squad yesterday, which sees the likes of Jack Walker, Connor Bower and Titus Gwaze all come back into contention for the game tomorrow night.

Also fresh from a two-week break are Friday’s opponents, Hunslet. The league’s bottom side travel to South Yorkshire looking to bounce back from disappointment last time out on the road at York, as they search for only their second league win of the season since being promoted back to the Championship.

Ticket prices for the game are as follows:

SEATING

Adults - £21

Concessions (65+, Students) - £16

Juniors (U16’s) - £8

STANDING

Adults - £19

Concessions (65+, Students) - £13

Juniors (U16’s) - £6

 * Please note that all ticket prices, except Juniors, will increase by £2 on the day of a game.

 * We strongly ask all supporters to purchase their tickets in advance of the game, by buying online though our online ticketing portal. 

TURNSTILES

Turnstiles will open at 5:30PM. Supporters are encouraged to arrive early to facilitate a smooth entry into the stadium and avoid any delays.

PARKING

We’re pleased to announce that there is on-site parking for gamedays at Olympic Legacy Park for the 2025 season. Worksop Road car park is available to use for supporters on a first-come, first-served basis. Car park spaces cost £5 and will be available to buy with CARD ONLY.

Please note that the car park is now run by an external company, and we are no longer responsible for the security of any vehicles parked within the car park.

Alternatively, there is some street parking available around Olympic Legacy Park, but please note that this is limited.

Please be mindful of the residents when parking your vehicle.

CONCESSIONS

Our food and drink concessions will open from 5:45pm at the Steel City Stadium.

A range of hot food options will be available, including Hot Dogs (£4.50), a selection of Pies (£5), and Sausage Rolls (£3). These items can be bought on their own or served with peas and gravy for an additional £1.50.

Crisps and chocolate bars will be available at £2 each.

Drinks on offer include alcoholic options such as John Smiths (£5) and Cider and Lager (£5.75), as well as bottled soft drinks (£3).

Our concessions are located inside the stadium concourse to your left after you have entered through the turnstiles.

Please note that our concessions only take card payments.

CLUB SHOP

We will have a little pop-up shop inside the stadium on Friday evening, where we will be selling the latest batch of 2025 Player Cards and pin badges.

SQUAD SHEETS

For the 2025 season, we will not be producing a match programme. Instead, a printed copy of the squads will be available. These will be limited in quantity but can be obtained free of charge from our gameday volunteers inside Olympic Legacy Park.
