Match Preview | Sheffield Eagles host Doncaster tomorrow afternoon
02/04/2026
Sheffield Eagles will hope to make it back-to-back victories in the Betfred Championship on Good Friday when we host South Yorkshire rivals Doncaster at the Steel City Stadium (3pm KO).
We had to battle and come from behind to secure a vital two points on the road at the weekend as we secured an 18-16 victory against Dewsbury Rams.
The win was our fifth of the season after our opening six league games, with Sunday’s victory lifting us up to 6th in the Betfred Championship table.
We take on Doncaster this weekend who come into this game full of confidence having secured a sixth win in a row at the weekend after a convincing victory against Swinton Lions at the Eco-Power Stadium.
The victory saw Richard Horne’s side move up to second in the league table, so they’ll be looking to add to their good start to the season this weekend.
