Match Preview | Oldham are this Sunday's visitors to the Steel City Stadium!

It’s a return to Betfred Championship action for Sheffield Eagles this coming Sunday afternoon when we entertain Oldham RLFC at the Steel City Stadium at Olympic Legacy Park (3pm KO).

After a three-week break from league action, The Eagles will be hoping to make it a second successive win in the Championship, having secured a 12-19 win on the road at Featherstone Rovers last time out.

Since that game, the club have added back-rower Nick Staveley to the squad, and the former Hull FC man could well make his debut in Red and Gold this coming weekend.

We take on an Oldham side this weekend, who secured a 50-6 victory at home to London Broncos last weekend, so they’ll travel down to South Yorkshire full of confidence, looking for another win.

The reigning Betfred League One Champions have made a strong start since returning the second tier, having secured two wins and a draw from their opening four games in the league.

Match Tickets for Sunday’s game remain on sale, and you’re able to secure your spot for this game now by clicking HERE.

Ticket prices for the game are as follows:

SEATING

Adults - £21

Concessions (65+, Students) - £16

Juniors (U16’s) - £8

STANDING

Adults - £19

Concessions (65+, Students) - £13

Juniors (U16’s) - £6

 * Please note that all ticket prices, except Juniors, will increase by £2 on the day of a game.  

 * We strongly ask all supporters to purchase their tickets in advance of the game, by buying online though our online ticketing portal. 

TURNSTILES

Turnstiles will open at 1PM. Supporters are encouraged to arrive early to facilitate a smooth entry into the stadium and avoid any delays.

PARKING

We’re pleased to announce we have on-site parking for gamedays at Olympic Legacy Park for the 2025 season. Worksop Road car park is available to use for supporters on a first-come, first-served basis. Car park spaces cost £5 and will be available to buy with CARD ONLY.

Alternatively, there is some street parking available around Olympic Legacy Park, but please note that this is limited. Please be mindful of the residents when parking your vehicle.

21-MAN SQUAD SHEETS

For the 2025 season, we will not be producing a match programme. Instead, a printed copy of the 21-man squads for both teams will be available. These will be limited in quantity but can be obtained free of charge from our gameday volunteers inside Olympic Legacy Park.
