Match Preview | Batley at home this Friday!

13/08/2024

Sheffield Eagles are back in Betfred Championship action at Olympic Legacy Park this Friday as we set to take on Batley Bulldogs (7:30pm).

It’s a chance for the Eagles to return to winning ways in the league following last Friday’s defeat to Wakefield Trinity.

We face a tough task against a Batley side who are pushing for a playoff spot, and they’ll be full of confidence following their 26-6 win against Swinton last weekend.

Head-to-Head

It’s the third meeting of the season between the Eagles and Batley, having already met once in the league at the Fox’s Biscuits Stadium, and in the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup Quarter Final at Olympic Legacy Park.

It’s one win a piece for both sides this season from them games, so both side will be looking for two points which could prove crucial as we enter the final few weeks of the season.
