With three wins from four league matches so far this season, Sheffield Eagles welcome fellow high-flyers Widnes Vikings to the Olympic Legacy Park on Sunday.

Form

Both Sheffield and Widnes have enjoyed respectable starts to their respective campaigns as they sit third and fourth in the table respectively.

The last round of matches couldn’t have been more of a contrast for the Eagles and Vikings. Sheffield scrambled over the line against London, winning 20-21 at the Cherry Red Records Stadium in Wimbledon.

Widnes’ fortunes were certainly smoother as they dominated Halifax Panthers on home turf, conquering Simon Grix’s side 42-14 live on Viaplay Sports.

3pm with gates opening at 1pm.

Adults: £20 (standing), £22 (seated)

Concessions: £15 (standing), £17 (seated),

Juniors: £5 (standing), £7 (seated)

There is a small discount on ticket prices if you purchase in advance.

Buy now, from the Eagles’ ticketing website, to save yourself some money. These will go offline at midnight on Saturday.

Car Park

There is a car park available on Worksop Road - places are first come first served and it’s a £3 charge (cash only).

If the car park is full, there is sufficient street parking nearby.

Food and Drink

Refreshments in the ground are supplied by our Executive Sponsors Extra Time Sports Bar.

From pies to hot dogs, beers to tea, there is plenty to choose from at our concession stand.

These purchases are card-only.

Programme

Official match day programme ‘Red & Gold’ will be available from the unit and sellers outside around the ground.

Explosive front-rower Titus Gwaze has enjoyed a brilliant start to his Eagles career and he is the star man in this edition.

You can buy via card in the unit but it is cash-only from sellers outside of the ground.
