Marcus Green departs Sheffield Eagles

Sheffield Eagles can confirm that Marcus Green has departed the club to allow him to pursue a new playing opportunity for the 2027 season.

The young forward joined the Eagles midway through the 2025 campaign on loan from Midlands Hurricanes, making seven appearances before completing a permanent move to Sheffield ahead of the 2026 season.

Green made two appearances for the Eagles this year, while also gaining valuable playing experience during loan spells with Keighley Cougars and Rochdale Hornets.

Following his release, Marcus will now look to secure a new opportunity ahead of the 2027 campaign.
