Makelim to miss Batley trip

The Eagles will be without playmaker Corey Makelim for their trip to Batley Bulldogs this Sunday, after picking up an injury in a recent training session.

Makelim has played in all four of the Eagles' games in 2020, covering a number of positions including full-back, stand-off and hooker.

The utility value of the USA international has been key to Sheffield's recent success, culminating in last year's 1895 Cup success at Wembley in which Makelim was a try-scorer.

We wish Corey a speedy recovery and will update fans with more information as we get it.
