Jess Panayiotou joins our Women's team

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to announce the signing of forward Jess Panayiotou, who joins the Women’s team ahead of the 2026 season.

The prop or second row forward arrives from Warrington Wolves, where she made nine appearances last season in the Betfred Women’s Super League.

Panayiotou brings valuable experience in rugby league having also previously represented Salford Red Devils. She also boasts a strong rugby union background, with spells at Sale Sharks, Lichfield, and Loughborough Lightning.

Speaking after signing for the Eagles, Jess said, “I’m buzzing to be joining Sheffield Eagles for the upcoming season. The culture and ambition at the club are clear, and I’m looking forward to contributing both on and off the field.”
