Jack Mallinson departs the club

Sheffield Eagles can confirm that half back Jack Mallinson has left the club by mutual consent.

The 24-year-old joined the club ahead of last season after appearing as a trialist in our friendly win against Doncaster at the Eco-Power Stadium.

After signing permanently with the club, Jack went on to make a total of four appearances and scored one try for the club, with the latter coming in his final game for the Eagles in our home defeat to Hunslet in May.

We’d like to thank Jack for his contributions in a Sheffield shirt and we wish him the best of luck with his future endeavours.
