Jack Bussey signs new one-year deal with the club!

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to confirm that Jack Bussey has signed a new contract with the club.

The experienced forward, 33, joined the Eagles ahead of the 2025 season. He made a total of 18 appearances last season, and also crossed for two tries, against West Bowling in the Betfred Challenge Cup and against Bradford Bulls in the Betfred Championship.

Bussey brings a wealth of experience with him following previous spells with Featherstone Rovers, Toronto Wolfpack and London Broncos, and he now extends his stay in South Yorkshire as part of Craig Lingard’s squad until the end of the 2026 season.

Further retention news will follow later this week as the Eagles continue to shape their squad for the upcoming 2026 campaign.
