Harvey Horne joins on a season-long loan from Hull KR

Sheffield Eagles are delighted to announce the loan signing of Hull KR winger Harvey Horne.

The son of former Rovers player Graeme Horne and the nephew of Doncaster Head Coach Richard Horne links up with the Eagles for the remainder of the season, and he goes straight into contention for Good Friday’s clash against his uncle’s side in the Betfred Championship.

Horne graduated from Hull KR’s academy ahead of the 2024 season, and he transitioned from fullback to the wing in his second year in the Academy, where he caught the eye of many.

He has been a regular in their reserve side over the last sixteen months, and he got his first taste of men’s competitive rugby league after making two appearances for Doncaster earlier this season on loan, where he scored on his debut against the Eagles back in March in the AB Sundecks 1895 Cup.

The club welcomes Harvey to South Yorkshire and we look forward to seeing him in action in the red and gold.
